💙 The yarn is produced in Norway
Aurora Cardigan is worked from the top down. The back piece is worked flat first and shaped using German Short Rows. The right and left front pieces are then worked separately before being joined at the centre front. The work is then joined for the body, which is worked in the round to the desired length. Sleeves are worked by picking up stitches around the armholes and knitting them from the top down. The cardigan is then steeked at the centre front before the neckband, button bands, and facings are worked. Finally, the facings are sewn to the inside of the cardigan, covering the raw edges created by the steek. All ribbing is worked in k2, p2 and bound off using knit stitches.
