June is a simple cardigan worked from the top down. The back piece is first shaped with German short rows. Then each shoulder is worked separately before the back and front pieces are joined, and the rest of the body is worked back and forth. The cardigan has sleeves that are knitted directly onto the body. Finally, a long tie strap is worked using the double knitting technique and knitted onto the cardigan, creating a neat edge along the fronts and around the neckline. The entire cardigan is worked with two strands held together, one strand of each yarn quality.
